The Auburn Arts Association (AAA) was founded in Auburn, Alabama in 1982 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer, community-based arts organization to promote arts education, encourage and support area artists, and to inform and involve the community in the arts. Our organization provides arts experiences for the youth, professional opportunities for artists and performers, and support to encourage community-based arts initiatives. We offer scholarships for community members, foster cooperative arts education projects, maintain AAA Archives and an art collection, and sponsor a variety of services and social activities.

The AAA also assists in the coordination of the exhibition schedule of the Art Gallery in the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center (JDCAC). We work with the Center to offer art classes and workshops, to provide Summer Art Camps and to host a number of special community events.
