New WOrks 2020

The Auburn Arts Association presents New Works 2020, a selection of new and recent works in three specific art mediums by three Alabama artists: Julie Plasketes, sculpture; Marg Laughlin, photography and Conrad Ross, drawing. A reception for the exhibition is scheduled for Friday, February 21, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. It will be held in the Art Gallery at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center.

The September Show: Is It Art?

A variety of colorful works and artifacts that invited viewers to consider the question of “Is it art?” Among the fifty works in the show were collectibles, original artworks, estate sale items, borrowed works, ordinary things and thrift store bargains.
Arts & Crafts Invitational 2019

Twelve artists who received merit awards in the 2019 Auburn CityFest Juried Arts Exhibition were invited to submit new or recent works for this exhibition. Included were a variety of paintings, collages and mixed-media works, photographs, ceramics and sculptures.
Studio 222 – Woodlands

This exhibition featured a variety of pieces ranging from landscapes in fabric to abstracts of fallen leaves and conceptual ideas related to wooded spaces captured in sculptures or two-dimensional expression, all of which incorporated some type of fiber.
